eth_getBlockByNumber

Returns information about a block by block number.

Parameters​

  • block: [Required] string - A hexadecimal block number or one of:
    • "latest": The latest block.
    • "earliest": The first block.
    • "pending": The pending state of the blockchain.
  • fullTransactionObjects: [Optional] boolean - If true, returns the full transaction objects; if false, only transaction hashes.

Returns​

  • result: object - An object containing block information, including transactions, miner, timestamp, etc.
